RP-Weekly, April 26th

Every week as we gather it's only possible as we be a church of individuals committed to serving the whole! Remember that serving on our ministry teams is so much more than completing particular tasks, but an opportunity to express our alignment with God's love for the local church and his desire that we would imitate him as the one 'who came not to be served, but to serve.'

Just as the early church appointed elders to shepherd and guide the flock, this Sunday we will follow in their example through commissioning Josh Marshall as an Elder at Park-RP. The role of Elder is one that comes with the responsibility to steward, lead and love the bride of Christ - join us in celebration this Sunday as the Lord continues to work in the lives of his children, placing them in positions of imitation and example for the future benefit of our church, but also pray for Josh and his family as they step into this new role, knowing that it will come with it's trials and challenges.

If your Saturday morning is still open - Sergey is leading an event at Sabka Sahaara at 10am where he will walk through how we see the 'Messiah in the Passover'. It's not too late to register below.

p.s Big shout out to our women for pulling off an IF:Gathering event last weekend! What an incredible gift to see our women drawing one another into a place of surrender and worship around God's word!

When you join a serving team, you're not just volunteering; you're becoming an integral part of our church family. It's where friendships begin, where commitment is strengthened, and where you will truly start to feel like you belong.

We believe that giving is an act of worship. It recognizes God as the owner and source of all we have. It is our cheerful response to God in praise of His radical generosity towards us.

Collaboration allows us to leverage our strengths, compensate for our weaknesses, and reach areas and demographics of our city that might otherwise remain untouched.

Gospel Project Unit 28 (Jesus is Alive) Description: Jesus’ resurrection was no secret. For 40 days, Jesus appeared to His disciples and hundreds of others so that they would know He is alive forevermore. Jesus wants everyone to know Him, trust Him, and live for Him.

Note, in May we will be transitioning to Brite Curriculum. This is an exciting change that will provide new materials for families to follow along throughout the week so please do keep your eyes peeled for that!

Events/ Outreach:
* April is Global Awareness month across all the Park locations so each week we will be integrating a Global slot into our kids ministry time. This will include videos from some of our Global partner kids, which we hope will encourage and inspire our Kids!
