RP - Weekly, September 6th

A NOTE FROM PHIL
Park-RP,

This Sunday we will begin a four-week sermon series entitled 'COURAGEOUS CONVICTIONS.'

In 1  Corinthians 13:16, the Apostle Paul writes 'stand firm in the faith; be courageous', and so over the coming weeks we will be teaching through a number of passages in Scripture, for the sake of calling one another to greater courage and faithfulness in our upholding of a number of biblical convictions that mark us as a church.

Would you join me in praying over this sermon series through two lenses:

1. That 'Courageous Convictions' will strengthen and inspire us in our faith, while also bringing us to a place of a re-affirming our discipleship to Christ and His Word, as we embark on the next season of our lives.

2. That  'Courageous Convictions' would serve to awaken new found faith and following after Jesus, as He who holds all things together, and is worthy of our alegiance and submission, regardless of the stand following Him may entail.

We believe that the Bible is not only true, but good and beautiful, and that through a life of discipleship, in submission to God's Word, we find the only path that leads to human flourishing as we live in light of a restored relationship with God, and so, over the coming weeks it is our hope and prayer that courage will be renewed in our walk with Christ, not only for our joy, but for the sake of our purpose as Christ's ambassadors to the world.

This Sunday, Jamie will kick-off our series with a sermon entitled, NO OTHER NAME (Acts 4:8-12).

Also, it's been so wonderful to see many new faces on Sunday's over the past few months, hence this Sunday immediately after service we will be having a 'Newcomers Lunch' - this is a great a opportunity to get to know some more people in our church family and hear a brief introduction to who we are as a church and how you can take next steps to get more connected. If possible, please register below.

See you Sunday! Come for '9am Prayer' in the Library!

In Christ,

Phil

Giving at Park-RP

We believe that giving is an act of worship. It recognizes God as the owner and source of all we have. It is our cheerful response to God in praise of His radical generosity towards us.

Neighborhood Partners

Collaboration allows us to leverage our strengths, compensate for our weaknesses, and reach areas and demographics of our city that might otherwise remain untouched.
