The Vision
The shared vision of every Church in the Park family of Churches is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people until there is no place left.
The Mission
We fulfill our shared vision through making disciples of Jesus Christ, equipping the saints, sending them out, and spreading far and wide.
The RP Rhythms

At Park Rogers Park, we want to make visible in Rogers Park the new life that is available in Jesus. That’s the heartbeat of our church, and it’s why we live by what we call the RP Rhythms.
These rhythms help us live out Park’s larger vision—to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people until there is no place left—right here in our own neighborhood. They give us a roadmap for what it means to belong to Jesus, to grow as His disciples, and to go into the world as His witnesses.
Why Rhythms?
A rhythm is something steady and repeated, like a heartbeat or a drumbeat. In the same way, these three rhythms are meant to shape the steady pattern of our life together as a church. They aren’t things we check off once and move on from; they’re habits we return to again and again, season after season.
The Three Rhythms
Always in Motion
Even though each rhythm has its own season of emphasis, all three rhythms are meant to be lived out all year long. Belonging, Growing, and Going are always part of following Jesus, they don’t stop and start. By emphasizing each rhythm in its season, we create space for accountability, alignment , and holistic discipleship.
What’s the Goal?
Our prayer is simple: that no one could live in Rogers Park, or the surrounding neighborhoods, without seeing and hearing the good news of Jesus. Through these rhythms, we want our lives together to be a visible witness to the transforming power of Christ.
