RP - Weekly, August 30th
Happy Friday, RP!
This Sunday we will be closing out our final message in the 'Minor Prophets' as we look at the book of Malachi. The final book in the Old Testament. It's a book that calls us back from our unbelief in God's love for us.
We will be asking, 'What makes us question the sincerity of God's love?' - When we are not resting in God's love, as his 'chosen people, holy and beloved' then the affects of our unbelief are revealed through the sin and dysfunction that becomes evident throughout our lives. Our unbelief distorts, our walk with the Lord, our relationships with others, and our sense of security and hope for the future!
Let's come together on Sunday to celebrate Christ's unwavering devotion towards his people, as expressed most clearly through the cross - may this final Sunday in the 'Minor Prophets' truly be a turning point of recommitment to Christ! May we never stopping turning more wholeheartedly towards Him! Let's begin preparing our hearts even now expectantly for our time together in God's Word!
Also, this Sunday is our last 'Park in the Park' for this Summer! We'll be firing up that grill, spending time together and getting to know more neighbors. Let's continue to trust in the power of our presence - that even more than we realise seeds our sown through the simplest of interactions and words of welcome. I'm excited for our time together!! For everyone who can make it - See you at 3pm at Loyola Park by the Volley Ball nets!
See you Sunday, Church!

Upcoming
Serving at Park-RP
When you join a serving team, you're not just volunteering; you're becoming an integral part of our church family. It's where friendships begin, where commitment is strengthened, and where you will truly start to feel like you belong.
Giving at Park-RP
We believe that giving is an act of worship. It recognizes God as the owner and source of all we have. It is our cheerful response to God in praise of His radical generosity towards us.
Neighborhood Partners
Collaboration allows us to leverage our strengths, compensate for our weaknesses, and reach areas and demographics of our city that might otherwise remain untouched.
Ministry Calendar
Children's Ministry Update
RP Kids August Plan and Curriculum:
Monthly Memory Verse: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
SESSION 1 (8/4): The Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20)
SESSION 2 (8/11): God's Gospel Plan (Romans 10:9-15)
Note No Elementary class
SESSION 3 (8/18): How to share the Gospel (Colossians 4:2-6)
** 8/25 Northside Shalom service at Warren Park **
Note for Elementary kids parents: As we look to the summer schedule for our RP Kids ministry, we have prayerfully decided to give our Elementary kids the opportunity to remain in service once a month. The final date for this will be 8/11/2024. We hope and pray this will give our Elementary kids a great experience of being a part of our wider church family. It will also mean that our RP Kids ministry team will not be asked to serve twice a month throughout the summer as we have a reduced number of team members. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to discuss this further if helpful!
If you have recently joined our church or have a new child please register them here.
