RP - Weekly, December 20th

A NOTE FROM PHIL
Join us on 'Christmas Eve' at 6pm at the Loyola Red Line stop for a time of Caroling together and sharing the joy of Christ's birth with our neighborhood.
Park-RP Family!

This Christmas, we celebrate the greatest gift ever given: Jesus Christ. As a result of His love for this world, He stepped into our brokenness and sin—not only to walk among us but to save us. He came to offer forgiveness, hope, and eternal life. Jesus is the gift that transforms lives, and it’s His love that inspires us to step into opportunities to share that gift with others this season.

Through our partnership with CarePortal, our team has been able to provide a substantial care package to Sullivan High School every month this fall to meet the needs of students. A big thank you to Patrick Chism and the team for spearheading this ministry and continuing to deepen our relationship with the school.

This year, our Angel Tree provided 60+ gifts to children at Rogers Elementary. Thank you to everyone who brought a gift, especially those who took an ornament for the first time! Way to go, Kristie Wildeboer and team!

Just a few weeks ago, Shannon, Maddi, and our Global Team hosted a kids’ clothing drive in partnership with World Relief. What a privilege it was to demonstrate God's heart for immigrants and refugees.

Let’s pray for all those who have received a gift from Park-RP this season—that every individual may experience the provision of Christ economically, materially, physically, and spiritually.
Well done, church! It is so evident in and through so many of your lives that you have encountered at love in Christ that has transformed your lives - and given you a heart to share that love with the world. Thank you for being great demonstrators of Christ this Christmas season.

I pray that you too will be reminded of your place in God's Kingdom over these coming days - that it is for you that Christ came, to make a way that the sick would be healed, the broken would be made whole, and that sinners would be forgiven. Rejoice in your salvation this Christmas, Church!

See you on Sunday, RP!

Blessings,

Pastor Phil

Serving at Park-RP

When you join a serving team, you're not just volunteering; you're becoming an integral part of our church family. It's where friendships begin, where commitment is strengthened, and where you will truly start to feel like you belong.

Giving at Park-RP

We believe that giving is an act of worship. It recognizes God as the owner and source of all we have. It is our cheerful response to God in praise of His radical generosity towards us.

Neighborhood Partners

Collaboration allows us to leverage our strengths, compensate for our weaknesses, and reach areas and demographics of our city that might otherwise remain untouched.
